ÉCLAT has never had a factory, a licensing arm, or a hurry. Twelve artisans work at benches their predecessors used, making very few things for people who intend to keep them.

A short history
- 1908
Élise and Marcel Clat open a two-bench workshop off Place Vendôme. The first ledger entry: one aigrette, one client, four months of work.
- 1931
The house's stepped 'Tank' settings define its machine-age period; three survive in museum collections.
- 1968
ÉCLAT refuses to industrialise and instead caps production — a decision the house has kept ever since.
- 1994
The archive is catalogued: 4,112 gouache drawings, every piece the house has ever made.
- 2012
Full traceability adopted for all stones — origin certificates issued with every jewel.
- 2026
Twelve artisans, one atelier. The waiting list is longer than the ledger.
